Job Summary
Assist with patients' activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, and mobility under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. Perform technical duties such as vital signs, point of care testing, bladder scanning, and foley catheter care while maintaining standard precautions and isolation protocols. Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team, reinforce education regarding care needs and safety, and participate in patient satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives. May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified. Requires BLS certification, PCT course completion, and strong communication skills. Night shift, 24 weekly hours, Marlton.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Grade Equivalent Diploma (GED)
- Successfully completed a PCT course, a fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, or have worked an equivalent of 1 year of direct patient care
- BLS certification
- Phlebotomy training/education
- Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
