Patient Care Technician I - Labor and Delivery - West Penn Hospital - Part Time

Patient Care Technician I in Labor and Delivery provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with activities on the inpatient unit including admissions, discharges and transfers, performing vital signs, specimen collection, I&O, and documentation in the electronic medical record. Responsibilities include promoting safety, participating in quality initiatives, maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and supporting RN-led care for patients in stable condition. Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, required background clearances, ability to read/write, basic math and computer skills, and completion of a 2-week training period.
