Job Summary
Patient Care Technicians at Health Systems Management provide essential dialysis treatment and support to patients under the guidance of registered nurses. Candidates must have healthcare experience and a High School Diploma.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 6 months of healthcare and/or direct patient care experience
- Must pass the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam within 18 months following the first day of employment
- Must have or obtain Basic Life Support certification approved by the American Heart Association
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work long hours
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working around blood and needles, including cannulation and obtaining labs
- Must pass the Ishihara’s Color Blind Test
