Job Summary
Patient Care Technician in a dialysis setting responsible for setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, patient education on adequacy measures, vascular access assessment and cannulation, preparing and recording vitals, and monitoring patient response during dialysis. Performs treatment initiation and termination per orders, maintains a safe/clean environment, follows CQI practices, documents treatment data, and supports infection control and transitional care activities. Requires high school diploma/GED and state/CMS certification as applicable; prior patient care experience preferred; CPR certification and completion of organization dialysis training program required. Hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $30.00 with potential for benefits and bonuses depending on location and performance.

- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required
