Job Summary
Conduct patient care duties at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities. Maintain eligibility in the Illinois Registry for CNA and hold required certifications such as Basic Life Support/CPR, Nursing Assistant certification, or RN/LPN training with EKG completion. Work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays, earning shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Completion of fundamentals of nursing course and registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry
- Nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
