Patient Care Technician - Float Pool

Under direct supervision, this Patient Care Technician role assists the bedside RN and charge nurse to ensure a safe, patient-focused environment. Duties include 1:1 patient observation for suicide prevention and to prevent device dislodgement, hygiene care (bathing, brushing teeth, toileting, urinary and fecal incontinence care), bladder scanning, assisting with walking, measuring vital signs, aiding in feeding, and participating in Basic Life Support (BLS) interventions. Requires rotating 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm) with weekends/holidays, and successful on-the-job training.
