Job Summary
Dialysis-focused Patient Care Technician (PCT) Float providing direct, hands-on care under RN supervision in outpatient dialysis clinics. Responsibilities include monitoring patients before/during/after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and care team. Role requires flexibility to float to nearby DaVita clinics for coverage, reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred certifications/experience include CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy; DaVita offers paid training and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
