Job Summary
Obtain and document patient information subjectively and objectively according to established standards, policies, and protocols. Prepare clinical areas for daily operations to meet provider and patient needs while performing or assisting with diagnostic clinical procedures. Provide appropriate patient education and information under provider direction, assist patients in the course of care, and maintain continuous training in new processes as directed by the Preceptor or Supervisor. Model a positive attitude and respect toward patients, co-workers, vendors, and visitors while protecting patient privacy according to HIPAA laws. This grant-funded position offers the opportunity to earn a Medical Assistant Certificate with on-the-job training, basic computer skills, and proficiency in Windows technology preferred.
