Job Summary
Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the digestive health clinic, including documenting medical histories and processing referral requests. Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure optimal patient care by supporting Medical Assistants and providers when necessary. Maintain required vaccinations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, plus an annual flu vaccine, while working a 40-hour weekly schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM Monday through Friday. This role serves as a pathway to becoming a Non-Certified or Certified Medical Assistant within Munson Healthcare's northern Michigan system.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Certification Preferred (Must be obtained within 6 months or hire and maintained)
