Job Summary
Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs and blood glucose, assisting with activities of daily living, reporting changes to nursing staff, maintaining patient rooms, and supporting unit workflow. Serve as liaison between patient care units and other departments; manage call lights and communications; participate in census, admissions, and discharges; maintain flexibility and multi-tasking in a 3-shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts weekly, every other weekend, rotating holidays). Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA/MA/EMT or nursing student with clinical rotation, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
- CPR – Basic Life Support via American Heart Association
