Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (PCT) at DaVita providing direct, hands-on dialysis care under RN supervision in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic dialysis care, monitoring patients before/during/after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
