Job Summary
Patient Care Technician at DaVita with a rotating 3-4 day schedule (4:30 am–9:30 pm range; 10–14+ hours/day), responsible for monitoring, educating and providing care for up to 4 patients before, during and after dialysis; role requires exposure to blood and needles; full-time, non-seasonal with training provided; focus on patient-centered care, teamwork and building relationships within the local community. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and may have healthcare experience or relevant certifications (CNA/CHT/BONENT/CMA/Phlebotomy) and is flexible to work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays; experienced in fast-paced environments and capable of supporting a dialysis-focused care team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Healthcare experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
