Job Summary
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide dialysis treatment on-site in Skilled Nursing Facilities under RN supervision. Responsibilities include operating dialysis machines, monitoring patient vitals and documenting treatment details, assisting with infection control and equipment disinfection, educating patients on treatment and care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Preferred: CNA, CMA, CHT, or BONENT certification or relevant experience. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, comfort with blood and needles, the ability to stand for long periods during 12+ hour shifts, and flexibility to float to different facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Dialysis experience or CCHT required
- Comfortable with blood, needles, and mixing dialysis solutions
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods (12+ hour shifts)
- Willingness to float to different facilities as needed
- Flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
