Job Summary
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at DaVita, you will provide direct, hands-on care for patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Your main responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up dialysis equipment, recording vital signs, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with medical environments, and demonstrate flexibility in their work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- MA certification
- CHT certification
- phlebotomy certification
- healthcare experience
