Job Summary
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients before/during/after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
