Job Summary
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct, hands-on care for patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Responsibilities include delivering safe and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients during treatment, setting up and maintaining equipment, recording vital signs, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health. Candidates must have an accredited high school diploma or equivalent, be comfortable around medical equipment, and possess the ability to work flexible shifts. Preferred qualifications include healthcare certifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- CNA
- MA
- CHT
- phlebotomy certification
- healthcare experience
