Job Summary
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at DaVita, you will deliver safe and compassionate outpatient dialysis care under RN supervision, monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, set up and maintain dialysis equipment, record vital signs and patient data, and educate patients on treatment and kidney health. This role requires an accredited high school diploma or equivalent, comfort with blood and medical equipment, physical stamina for long shifts, and flexibility to work varied hours. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CNA, MA, CHT, and experience in healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma
- general education development (GED) credential or equivalent
- comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- willing to float between local clinics if needed
- flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- MA certification
- CHT certification
- phlebotomy certification
- healthcare experience
