Job Summary
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at DaVita, you will provide direct care to patients with end-stage renal disease under RN supervision in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Your responsibilities will include delivering safe and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs, and educating patients about their treatment and kidney health. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with medical equipment, and have a flexible schedule for morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma or GED
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- CNA
- MA
- CHT
- phlebotomy certification
- healthcare experience
