Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (PCT) needed for outpatient dialysis centers. You will perform direct patient care during dialysis, monitor patients before/during/after treatment, record stats and machine setup, educate patients on kidney dialysis topics, and work with a cross-functional team under RN supervision. No dialysis experience required; extensive paid training provided. Flexible schedule with potential to float across clinics within the territory; must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
- Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
