Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides hands-on support and education under RN supervision for patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include assisting in training patients and caregivers, supporting the clinical team with patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment preparation, conducting home supply inventory, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Candidates must have an accredited high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (GED) credential, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Comfortable working with medical supplies, blood, and needles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts and on-your-feet work
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare experience (CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy) preferred
