Job Summary
Collaborate with Registered Nurses to provide direct patient support, perform essential clerical duties, and maintain a safe, organized environment. Utilize technical skills for patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment management, including care of patient drains, tubes, special equipment, and activities of daily living. Ensure legible, timely, and accurate documentation within the computerized system while managing multiple phone and intercom lines effectively. Maintain competency in Health Information Systems, supply ordering, and departmental data reporting. Operate with strong organizational skills, priority setting, and problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional patient experiences. Requires six months of acute care hospital experience and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Within the last three (3) years, six (6) months experience in an acute care hospital setting, or healthcare clinic, skilled nursing facility, or homehealth setting as a Care or Nurse Assistant, medical assistant or nursing student with one semester in clinical setting.
- less than 1 year 6 months , upon hire
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
