Job Summary
Perform vital signs monitoring and activities of daily living for rehabilitation patients under Registered Nurse supervision, while following established care plans and ensuring work area safety. Assess special needs of specific patient populations, report malfunctioning equipment, and maintain a positive professional image representing the nursing team. Participate in department education programs and commit to personal development to adapt to ongoing changes. Requires Maryland CNA license, BLS certification, and physical ability for lifting and turning. Night shift rotation from 7:00pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program
- Successful completion of the CNA exam
- Maryland CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Effective command of English language (spoken and written)
- Physical ability to meet job requirements of lifting, bending and turning
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Negative nicotine test
- Negative marijuana test
