Job Summary
Perform patient care activities under RN direction in a neuro/spinal cord injury specialty unit with an average length of stay of 25-30 days. Provide support for populations including traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury within CARF-accredited specialty units. Maintain continuous telemetry monitoring and assist with ventilator support and weaning where applicable. Requires CNA, CPCT, CEMT, CMA, or RMA certification and AHA or ARC CPR certification prior to hire. Schedule includes 24 hours per week on night shift (11:15 pm - 7:15 am) with every other weekend/holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- CNA, CPCT, CEMT, CMA or RMA required or equivalent Training Program
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification prior to hire
- 24 hours/week
- Night shift (11:15 pm - 7:15 am)
- every other weekend/holiday rotation
