Job Summary
The role focuses on performing non-nursing licensed tasks and frontline patient care within the Central Region Float Pool: supporting ADLs (hygiene, mobility, meals), taking vital signs and daily weights, conducting point-of-care testing, turning and repositioning patients, device and supply checks, removing Foley catheters/NG tubes, assisting with IV access and specimen handling, and providing one-to-one patient safety/watch as needed. The PCT will operate under the ACE Nursing Model of Care to expand autonomy and career growth, serving on Advanced Acute Care Units across Danville, Bloomsburg, and Shamokin, with a 36-hour weekly schedule across day and night rotations. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, minimum 1 year of relevant experience, and Basic Life Support certification within 6 months. The role emphasizes clinical support, patient safety, teamwork, and ongoing opportunities for professional development and tuition assistance.
