Job Summary
Patient Care Technician in Cardiac Telemetry (Part Time Nights) performs basic nursing care under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose, and recording intake/output; assists patients with activities of daily living; reports abnormal findings to nursing staff; keeps patient rooms clean; prioritizes and manages unit workflow; serves as liaison between patient care units and other departments; participates in pre-census and daily census validation; requires CPR/BLS certification; preferred phlebotomy experience; nursing students, CNAs, or EMTs with clinical rotation experience are eligible; position located in McHenry, IL and is an in-person role.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
- CPR – Basic Life Support
