Patient Care Technician (BP2 Advanced Acute Care Medical) - No CNA Cert Required - Night Shift

Facilitate patient activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, mobility, and meals while collecting vital signs, conducting point-of-care testing, and performing advanced dressing care. Manage equipment checks, exchange supplies, remove Foley catheters and peripheral IVs, and perform nasal swabs under the supervision of a registered nurse. Transport non-controlled medications and blood products, process specimens for laboratory transport, and coordinate patient testing schedules and discharge follow-up calls. Maintain accurate medical documentation, observe patient conditions, and assist with clerical duties such as transcribing orders and scheduling tests. Provide one-to-one safety watch and mentor new staff within the ACE Nursing Model of Care. Work three 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) every other weekend and holiday at the newly renovated BP2 Advanced Acute Care Medical unit.
