Job Summary
Facilitate activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, mobility, and meals while collecting vital signs, conducting point-of-care testing, and performing advanced dressing care. Manage patient safety through one-to-one watching, turning, repositioning, and Foley catheter or peripheral IV removal under Registered Nurse supervision. Perform venipunctures, skin punctures, and specimen transport while documenting physical needs and reporting condition changes. Maintain equipment integrity, process orders, coordinate patient transportation, and assist with discharge follow-up calls. Support staff in quality rounds and regulatory readiness drills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year Related work experience
- Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Preferred)
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance
- Responsive and dependable
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Proactive and engaged presence
- Ability to meet both the orientation and long-term full-time scheduling requirements of the role
- Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am) including every other weekend and holiday
- Required Orientation: At the start of employment, a consecutive two-week classroom orientation is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN or LPN program
- Student Nurse Associate (SNA) role based on skills, qualifications, and experience
