Job Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or LPN, assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, mobility) and supports the care team and family. Performs vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley catheter care; may perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified. Maintains standard precautions, documents patient changes, and participates in patient satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives. Night shift in the Adult Emergency Department at Voorhees.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- PCT course completion or fundamentals nursing course in an RN program OR CNA program OR 1 year direct patient care experience
- BLS certification
- Phlebotomy training/education required for Emergency Department positions
