Job Summary
Maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas while assisting licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs. Take direction from the registered nurse to support patients' activities of daily living. Requires current American Heart Association BLS certification and a Certified Nurse's Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification. Full-time days 7AM-7PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a nurse aide/residential aide/patient aide with experience in supporting patients' activities of daily living and vital signs
- Completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech or patient care tech course(s)
- Completion of one clinical semester in an LPN/RN program
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Welle Training (computer and classroom) within six months of hire
- Certified Nurse's Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification preferred
