Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and activities of daily living, including vital signs, skin surveys, specimen collection, and early mobilation protocols. Document all treatments and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff. Participate in quality initiatives such as hourly rounding, falls prevention, and maintaining a clean environment. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while performing unit activities like supply stocking and equipment cleaning. Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse with a full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Basic computer skills
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- HIPAA compliance
- Code of Business Conduct adherence
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- Company policies and training requirements compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Acute care experience with in the last 3 years
- Currently enrolled in ASN or BSN program
- Enrolled in Associates or Bachelor's degree Nursing programs
- Completed at least one clinical rotation
