Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician provides essential support in direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of Registered Nurses. Responsibilities include assisting with patient admissions and discharges, recording vital signs, performing phlebotomy, administering comfort and safety measures, and maintaining a clean environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma, CNA certification, and CPR certification. Previous health care experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- CNA Certification or currently enrolled in SON with completed clinical rotations
- CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- High school diploma required
- One year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience in a health care setting preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
