Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed clinical team, supporting telehealth encounters and coordinating with the interprofessional team to meet patient needs. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, responding to call lights, assisting with supplies and equipment, ensuring a safe care environment, and facilitating telehealth examinations with remote providers using technology such as Epic and Vidyo. Requires ability to convey respect to patients and families, collaborate across disciplines, and perform required physical tasks (lifting/moving patients).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs
- Effective communication and teamwork with interprofessional team
- Experience with telehealth or remote-enabled clinical workflows (e.g., Epic, Vidyo) is a plus
- Understanding of safety and patient care in healthcare environment
- Keen ability to support patients and families and adapt to diverse needs
- Physical ability to lift and move patients (40-50 lbs) and perform CPR as needed
