Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Rehab Nursing Unit under the direction of an RN. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers; accompany patients to treatments; perform and assist with patient lifts, transfers, positioning, and ambulation; assist with meals and bathing; complete documentation accurately and timely; observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN; maintain patient information in compliance with laws and regulations; maintain regular attendance. Requires CNA/CMA/EMT certification or completion of 1 year of nursing school and BLS. Strong customer service, teamwork, and compassionate care are emphasized. Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program (CMA)
- Current EMT training certification
- Completion of 1 year of nursing school
- Current BLS certification
