Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and document patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly. Support nurses with medical-surgical procedures and ensure patient rooms and equipment remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families while maintaining infection control standards. Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM on a rotating, as-needed basis. Eligible for overtime and shift differential. Requires one year of PCT experience, BLS certification, and HS/GED completion.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED completion
- One year PCT experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work day shifts on an as-needed (PRN) basis
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
