Job Summary
PRN Psychiatric Technician I in Clinical Research at CenExel provides care for psychiatric patients in trials. Responsibilities include observing and reporting behavioral changes, de-escalating subjects, assisting with ADLs, meals, and laundry, coordinating with charge nurse/physician, and adhering to FDA/ICH/GCP guidelines and CenExel SOPs. Schedule is weekday evenings from 3:00 pm to 11:30 PM and weekends as needed. Compensation ranges from $19.08 to $23.18 per hour, depending on education, experience, and skillset. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years experience with major mental illnesses in inpatient/acute care settings is preferred. On-site work arrangement at Gaithersburg, MD, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience working with persons with major mental illnesses (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression) as a psych tech in inpatient/acute care settings is preferred
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
