Job Summary
Patient Care Tech I PRN provides direct care to psychiatric patients in clinical trials, with duties including observing and reporting behavioral changes, de-escalation, assisting with ADLs and meals, helping with meal planning and ordering, supporting laundry and housekeeping, assisting with nightly room/equipment checks, and dispensing medications when certified, all while adhering to protocol, FDA CFRs, ICH, and GCP guidelines; schedule is weekdays 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and weekends as needed, with compensation in the stated hourly range.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years experience working with persons with major mental illnesses (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression) as a psych tech in inpatient/acute care settings is preferred.
