Manage and assist with patient movement to and from medical units and outpatient waiting areas, providing continuum of care standards through safety screening, cardiac monitoring, and maintaining IV and oxygen rates as set by physician, nursing, or technical staff. Direct patient care duties include answering telephones, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records, and assisting technologists with room, exam, and patient preparation using sterile and aseptic techniques. Clear communication and critical thinking skills are essential for ensuring patient safety during frequent one-on-one interactions. Schedule is per diem with variable shifts.
