Job Summary
Patient Care Tech (PCT) provides delegated patient care tasks under the supervision of a nurse as part of the patient care team to meet health care, safety and comfort needs of patients, in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards, policies and procedures. Requires BLS certification and completion of education in related health field (e.g., medical assistant program, EMT). Strong verbal/written communication, organizational and prioritization skills, analytical and critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail are essential. Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
