Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivers basic patient care, assists with vital sign monitoring, transfers patients safely, and maintains patient environments to ensure comfort and safety. The role requires effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to comply with safety and infection prevention protocols. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of clinical operations and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team. Physical stamina is necessary due to the demands of lifting and assisting patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred
