Job Summary
Conduct basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in the Neurology department. Aid with patient entry and exit, assist with personal care and activities of daily living, and report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Maintain patient room cleanliness and order while keeping medical equipment functional. Requires BLS certification and Maryland Nurse Aide credentialing. Night shift full-time position at St. Agnes - Ascension in Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Nurse Aide credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
