Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assist with activities of daily living and perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort. Operate within a unit-based, self-directed patient care team by sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed members. Requires American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, a Georgia Registry Certified Nursing Assistant credential, or equivalent medical assistant certification, plus one year of direct patient care experience. Includes rotating weekend shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility expanding quality care across Atlanta and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
- Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
