Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs for patients in the Medical ICU. Assist with activities of daily living and perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort. Operate as part of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team, sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed members. Requires American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification and a current CNA, CMA, or RMA credential on the Georgia Registry. One year of acute, direct patient care experience is mandatory. Weekend rotation is required on a rotating basis. Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility in Atlanta dedicated to expanding care quality and reach.
Required Qualifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
- Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
