Job Summary
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in the MedSurg S4500 area. Aid with patient entry and exit, assist with personal care and activities of daily living, and report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Maintain patient room cleanliness and order while ensuring medical equipment is functional. Requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire and Maryland Nurse Aide credentialing prior to start. Night shift full-time position at Ascension - St. Agnes in Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Nurse Aide credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
