Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while completing appropriate forms. Provide patient hygiene, food, and fluid needs, and assist with mobility. Obtain and record vital signs, perform finger stick blood glucose monitoring under RN direction, and maintain a safe environment through cleaning and pressure ulcer prevention. Complete documentation accurately per hospital policies. Support patient rights regarding cultural, ethical, and religious diversity while adhering to standard precautions and infection control standards. Requires current Nurse Assistant certification, BLS certification, and high school diploma.
