Job Summary
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while completing appropriate forms. Provide direct care including hygiene, mobility assistance, food and fluid needs, vital signs monitoring, and finger stick blood glucose tests. Maintain a safe environment through cleaning duties and pressure ulcer prevention. Document all activities accurately per hospital policy. Support patient rights regarding cultural, ethical, and religious diversity while adhering to infection control standards. Requires current Nurse Assistant certification, BLS certification, and high school diploma. Full-time night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Nurse Assistant certification by the State of Illinois
- documentation of previous Nurse Assistant certification within the past 5 years
- documentation of on the job training in a patient care setting equivalent to nurse assistant training
- BLS certification
