Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while completing appropriate forms. Provide direct hygiene, mobility assistance, and food and fluid support to adult and geriatric populations. Obtain and record vital signs, perform finger stick blood glucose monitoring, and maintain a safe, clean environment through housekeeping and cleaning duties. Prevent pressure ulcers and adhere to standard precautions and infection control standards. Support patient rights, including respect for cultural, ethical, and religious diversity, while ensuring accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policies. Requires current Nurse Assistant certification, BLS certification, and a high school diploma.
