Job Summary
Under the direction of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Tech in Inpatient Rehab provides direct patient care, assists with ADLs, maintains a clean and safe environment,Demonstrates sterile or aseptic technique as appropriate, completes delegated unit activities, and documents patient information in appropriate areas to meet documentation and charging requirements. Performs nursing care as delegated by the RN to support treatment goals and patient/family well-being. Shifts are 7:00 am–7:00 pm, full-time with Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays per year. Education required: High school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of direct care experience OR completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT coursework, or nursing fundamentals completed by student nurses.

- Experience preferred: minimum one year direct care experience (acute or long term) OR successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course OR student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
