Job Summary
Patient Care Tech I in Surgical Inpatient unit provides patient- and family-centered care as part of the healthcare team; supports thoracic surgery, urology, and general surgery patients; participates in unit training and professional development; eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and tuition reimbursement; works full-time on the night shift in a 32-bed surgical unit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland
- One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
