Job Summary
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, performing basic nursing-support duties and related services. Assists with patients’ personal needs, hygiene, and comfort; operates clinical equipment (e.g., automatic blood pressure devices, SCD machines); collects and transports specimens; supports the nursing staff and adheres to safety, infection control, and performance-improvement initiatives. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification; maintains professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams; participates in continuing education and on-site professional development.
