Job Summary
Patient Care Tech performs delegated patient care tasks under the supervision of a nurse to support health care, safety, and comfort of patients in accordance with hospital standards. Requires BLS certification and completion of education in a related health field (e.g., medical assistant program, EMT). Ideal candidates have patient care experience and strong communication, organizational, time management, prioritization, analytical, and detail-oriented skills. Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
